TdF 2014, stage 2. The second of the two Yorkshire stages is 198km from York to Sheffield, passing through the hilly terrain of the Peak District. With 3,400m of climbing, the stage has been heralded as a British version of the Liege-Bastogne-Liege classic, with the notorious climb of Holme Moss 50km from the finish. Presented by Gary Imlach, with guests Chris Boardman and David Millar, commentary by Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen, and reporters Ned Boulting and Jill Douglas. 640x352, x264 from ITV4, UK SD broadcast (576i). Split ar adverts: 1-3: pre-race/fake start 4-19: race 20-22: post-race
I watched the tail end of this stage on TV. Great ending, and fantastic scenery.
Thanks, Penthesilea.
